HIS FLOCK MINISTRIES
Luke 12:32
The Developing Team

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls. 1 Peter 2: 24, 25

Knowing what God has done for us, by giving His Son to pay the price for our sins, we should have no problem proclaiming Him boldly. We have a life we walk through every day, and it is our choice to put Christ in that walk and to live it righteously. The Bible says how the disciples walked from town to town doing the Lord's work. Their life was like our life - they could have just gone to church on Sunday’s but they chose to put Christ in their lives everyday. We can choose this too!

Greetings! I want to thank everyone who is praying for this ministry. This year has been an absolute blessing to me. First, I had a great peace put in my heart and soul, and then I got a great stirring in my Spirit to go forth with this vision. I know when the Lord speaks we should listen and do what He asks of us; however, a lot of times we don’t move unless we understand what it is He is asking. When this calling came to me, I did not know anything about it, nor did I understand it. I sat on this for a few months and it felt like God was poking me in the side periodically trying to get me to move. When I finally took a step forward to buy the domain name for the web page, He gave me a little more understanding. I still didn’t understand completely, so of course I moved slowly again.

April 2003 was an awesome year and month, as I felt there was a lot revealed to me at that time. The stirring was big and I had some inspiring visions given to me as well. God showed me that I don’t need to understand what is happening to me, I just need to be obedient and take the steps, and He will give me direction. In 1Corinthians 12:1-18 Paul is speaking to the church of Corinth about the gifts of the Spirit. In the 1st verse he says don’t be ignorant. I think one of the things he tries to get through is that we are not the ones who pick what gifts and ministries we do or have. As we read verses 1-10, Paul is explaining the differences and dispersing of the gifts. What I find to be fascinating is in verse 11. It say’s, "But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will" (KJV). Now that I know I didn’t choose this calling for my life but the Lord did, I just need to be obedient and take steps of faith and my Lord will guide me.  The last 6 years have been a bit of a learning curve for me and now that I have put myself out of the way and let God direct, it all seems to be comming together. 2010 is going to be the year of growth for SSM.

I need to walk with the Lord in every aspect of my life. I can’t just go to church on Sunday hoping God will give me all the answers in this little period of time. I need to put Him first all the time. This is the big revelation to me. I know it may sound too simple, but think about it…is He really first in everything. If someone were to write about you, would it sound like a book from the Bible or from People Magazine? My prayer for you is that you step out of yourself and look at your life to see where you can put our Lord in your daily walk more. Try this! Write a letter to God on what you did this last year. It may shock you! It could be inspiring or it could be shameful - but do this as if God were reading this letter, because He is.

Mat 18:12 "What do you think? Suppose a man has 100 sheep and one of them strays. Won't he leave the 99 sheep in the hills to look for the one that has strayed?
Mat 18:13 I can guarantee this truth: If he finds it, he is happier about it than about the 99 that have not strayed

Feb 4th of 2010, me and some local Christian teens that are friends with my son met for our 1st street team meeting at our house.  With the help of my son and his friends we came up with some idea's and goals; It was a success!  The following week we added a few more kids to the team.  As I get to talk to the kids I see their interest in the whole concept.

We are in the infantcy stage of this vision and we are excited of what God will do in all our lives.

In Christ, Rod Reasner
